Who Deserves the MVP this Season?

The 2020-2021 Season has been one of the most riveting seasons ever! Characterized by game cancellations and strict Covid-19 regulations, the NBA has been fighting a virus that has crippled its ability to generate income via spectator game tickets. Uncertainty has been a revolving theme. At any point a "Franchise" player can test 'positive' for the virus and be out a few games. Additionally, the NBA had decided to give their Play-In tournament idea another try in an effort to increase fan attention amidst our current world-wide pandemic. Although the list of off-the-court issues this season has been lengthy, there have been numerous bright spots on the court. The MVP race this season has been tumultuous, to say the least. At one point, Lebron James looked like a clear-cut favorite, and then James Harden went on a roll, making a legitimate case for the award. At this rate, who knows who will win it, but let's take a look at our top candidates!  Steph Curry   S

Steph Curry's Best Irrelevant Season Ever!

     Steph Curry is currently averaging 29.4 points per game, 6 assists per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 1.3 steals per game while shooting 48% from the field, 41% beyond the three point line, and 93% on free throw attempts. While Godly these numbers are, they are not Curry’s best. But what jumps out to me about Curry’s stats is that he is putting up these numbers at the seasoned age of 32. Very similar to Lebron, Curry is seemingly able to maintain his spectacular play even though he is getting older. All this is great, but there is one issue: The Golden State Warriors aren't very good. The Warriors currently sit in the 10th spot in the western conference standings and with only one month and a half left in the season, their chances to make the playoffs aren't looking very high.
